"Started with State Farm Last year and an incident with hail in the fall. So I filed a claim, the adjuster stated there was NO hail damage.? Then they said they will not be renewing my insurance later this year. NOT VERY PROFRESSIONAL. I was with them before.... my how times have changed. PICK ANOTHER INS NOT STATE FARM!!!!"

"My son had an accident and when he called to file a claim using our comprehensive coverage he was told by staff to "call the other insurance" without any guidance or explanation. Ended up calling state farm directly to file the claim and set up a rental. I called the office to complain and was told that there was no note that my son called and that he misunderstood what he was told suggesting he was advised to call the other insurance to avoid paying the deductible. None of that was part of the conversation. I felt a young driver was misled and not appropriately informed by this office. We pay for comprehensive coverage for a reason. He was not at fault and we can recover the deductible None of the times we have called have we ever talked to Mr. Slaydon himself. It is always a staff member. Not great customer service when in need."

"I am the executor of an estate of a decedent who died in 2/22. Mr. Slaydon was informed of the death.
I recently received a billing for a renewal policy on decedent's home furnishings.
I have called now 3 times and can only get an answering service no matter when I call. I once talked to a person who took down decedent's information and said I would get a call back. No response.
Not being able to contact Mr. Slaydon or a representative after multiple tries is unsatisfactory. I would recommend against ever purchasing insurance from him or his agency.
